Last night I gathered some Silent Book Club friends and my mother in law who loves baseball and we went to Fourth Wing Night. It was a very beautiful day. Getting into the park, getting our crewnecks was a fast experience. They had photo opportunities, specialty drinks and other merch. They even threw in some trivia and games during the game.

Bonus, we won against the Angels. Highly recommend gathering your book club friends and enjoying a game.

Saturday I got to spend the day in downtown Detroit with several Silent Book Club chapters. We took a two hour river cruise, of course reading was involved. There were raffle prizes, I made 5 embroidered book sleeves, and a blind date with a book. I’m so thankful for this Cozy Vibes crew.

One thing to know about me, I look like a hot mess when I’m sewing or in my house. Comfy is always the objective. Unless I’m outside my house, I’m probably not in a bra. BUT all my products are made to perfection. I may look like a hot mess, but my products are not.

Still reminding myself it’s okay to slow down. It’s okay to sit on the patio under a blanket with a book and play frisbee with the big baby. Even as a business owner, it’s okay to take moments, days, how ever long you need to be slow.
