my girl,

still trying to figure out how we got here… feels like i just dropped you off freshman year and now i’m watching you get ready to walk across that stage. what an accomplishment… really sit in that for a second 💛 watching you become who you are has been one of the greatest honors of my life. your drive, your work ethic, your heart… it all shows. you did it the right way too… head down when you needed to, had your fun when it mattered, built the best friendships, and somewhere in between you grew into this confident, grounded, beautiful young woman.

you’ve been maize and blue long before and somehow it fits you perfectly, just like those blue eyes and that golden hair. ✨ but what i love most is how you made it your own… your own memories, your own people, your own story. studying abroad, figuring life out on your own, saying yes to experiences i never had… you made these 4 years everything they’re meant to be. i’m so proud of you… for all of it, but even more for who you’ve become.

and even as everything changes, just know i’ll always be right here… front row seat, cheering you on every step of the way. your life is unfolding even more beautifully than i ever imagined, and i can’t wait to watch it all.
