Here’s a minute of Sunday morning knitting zen for you.
Bonus bluejay squawk too.

We’ve begun to clean up the garden- coffee out here in the mornings is one of my favorite spring/summer things.

I’m knitting a Cotton Luxe Cowl by in Cotton Luxe by A beautiful ombre yarn.
Now I know a lot of us wool lovers poo-poo cottons yarns- but this one has been lovely to knit with- soft, even with the metallic sparkle, and even though it’s a mildly heavier fi*****ng weight it’s working up beautifully on US 6/4.5mm needles.

A great big win for a one skein project!

Planning on coming out to the rhis weekend?? Come find me in the 4-H building, just a couple of spaces down from the fabulous Did you hear that has a scavenger hunt going for the show? Just stop in the shop and purchase your card for a chase at super fun prizes!

This show is FULL of fantastic vendors- it’s a larger scale fiber event- and a super fun one! 🧶💚

Thank you thank you thank you everyone who helped make 2026 an amazing success! I had the most amazing time- this is a favorite event of mine, and I look forward to it every year.

I loved being across from (Lisa, how did we not get a picture??) and next door to Andy (Steve you were missed!) and behind As always it’s the community that really makes a show and the vibe for this one is so great. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who always have our backs.

10-5pm Tomorrow! sent out an inspiration photos for vendors to use, if we wanted to, as inspiration for a special item for this year’s show.

I present to you ‘Wayfarer’ a special 7 color self striping Vesper Sock Yarn colorway. It is dyed on my Classic Sock Base, 80/20 sw merino and nylon.
This will be available tomorrow at the Spring Maker’s Fest in Charlotte, Michigan. Hosted by the amazing team of and this is the 4th year of this amazing show, and I cannot recommend it enough!

Any extras will be up in my shop on Sunday. (But seriously don’t sleep on coming out tomorrow!) 💚🩷💙💜🧡

What a great trip to Pittsburgh- we drove all over the city and enjoyed some much needed family time.
Definite highlight was visiting Oakland for the May Market at the and walking across the Schenley Park bridge for lunch on the Pitt campus. Cathedral of Learning and (one of my) current socks in progress.
