LVD was a small design house specializing in Interior Design, Event Design and Decor Sales. The name Lemon Vanilla Designs was inspired by my own wedding cake and spoke to my design style, a sweet blend of fresh, modern, comfort. A blended collaboration with my clients and assistants to create designs that would be truly unique. I have always believed a good designer listens to their clients. I wo

uld then use my creativity and expertise to bring it all to life. Design never got old to me because although some designs had the same style, each client and each space was so unique that, in turn, each design was its very own. It was like putting together a big beautiful puzzle. And then came the Covid-19 pandemic in March of 2020....I was home with my girls for what we thought would be 2 weeks, which turned to 4, which turned to months. Events were being cancelled, venues closed, things were shut down and my biggest wholesaler shut their doors. What LVD was, now was NOT. I needed to pivot. So, what do I do now? I'll start with what I know. I know that I am a creator, a designer, a planner, a maker and a mom...for my new life at home, this meant planning days for me and my girls. Making every day as special as I could knowing none of what was happening felt normal but if I could, for just a day, make each day feel special, that was what I was going to do. Design fun ideas and themes for each week so we can get through this together. Hopefully keep our sanity, hopefully stay healthy and hopefully create some memories. I have chosen weekly themes inspired by the seasons and holidays. Meant to mix it up a little using some things we already have at home and some new fresh ideas to keep the days exciting. I have tricks, tips, decor ideas, food options and crafts. My girls and I often refer to these themes and ideas throughout the week when we need something to do. I hope these themes entertain you, teach you, help you and inspire you. They are for the newly engaged couple looking for wedding inspiration, the parents planning a birthday party, the 20-something having a dinner party, the parent celebrating their child's first "A" on a report card or that is in need of ideas to keep their kids occupied during these LONG days at home. Lemon Vanilla Designs specializes in wedding design, event planning and decor. Every wedding or event (birthday, shower, holiday event, home, etc) that we design or coordinate is custom designed based on the clients’ interests and budget. nWe start the design process with an extensive questionnaire to really get down to what the client is interested in and what they really want and expect out of our services. Lemon Vanilla Designs prides ourselves on providing high quality service in Special Events, Wedding Design & Home Decor. We have certified professionals to help with any of your design needs. And we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations. We offer design packages that the client can choose from and we can customize the package as needed.

What started off as an Interior Design business slowly evolved into Event Design and Planning as well has Home Decor when one interior design client requested we design a wedding. Word got out and we were asked to design more and more events. Once certified in Wedding Planning, we took on more work with events. Planning and designing for weddings and special events is such a fulfilling job. There is always so much joy and happiness surrounding the day and it gives us great pleasure seeing our clients overcome with emotion when they see what they have been dreaming about their whole life come to reality.

Along with wedding and event design, we do some interior home design, commercial merchandising and holiday decorating. We like to try to continue the relationships with our clients and often time get asked to design for a baby shower after the wedding, a birthday party or help them set up their new home when they get settled in and unpack all of their wedding gifts.
