Happy June!

Longer days, warmer weather, and a calendar full of reasons to get out and enjoy Ann Arbor, it’s one of our favorite times of year.

We're excited to be a sponsor of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival this season! Join us for Opening Night on June 12 as we co-sponsor Jess Merritt, and don't miss Movie by Moonlight on June 17 at 9:45 PM featuring Sleepless in Seattle under the stars. Check out for all the details!

While you're enjoying everything happening around town, Mary and Michael will be heading to Atlanta this month on the hunt for new treasures and fun finds for the shop. We can't wait to bring back some fresh inspiration.

A few dates to add to your calendar:

June 6 – The 29th annual Ann Arbor African American Festival is happening in the Kerrytown District
June 12 – is hosting the Ann Arbor Asian Night Market at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market
June 14 – Flag Day
June 19 – Juneteenth
June 21 – Father's Day and the official start of summer!

And don't forget - the Kerrytown Gallery Nights continue on Thursday, June 25. We'll be pulling out our lino printing tools and supplies for an evening of creativity, community, and hands-on fun.

Whether you're strolling through Kerrytown, catching a festival performance, or stopping in to say hello, we hope to see you this month.

Our first "Art Bar" last night was a blast! This is our first year as part of Gallery Nights, Found's "Art Bar" will offer a different category of art supplies to sample each month, we started with watercolor. Mark your calendar for the next next month - June 25th 5-8 pm.

The "Art Bar" at Found will be serving up WATERCOLOR supplies during the first 2026 Ann Arbor Gallery Night in Kerrytown.

Stop by to sample luscious Viviva Watercolor Sheets, pans of paint, and yummy gouache, served up with variety of brushes on various watercolor papers. Take home a watercolor postcard and small Viviva  colorsheet.

Disclaimer: this is NOT a workshop or class, and there will be no instructor. Just a good opportunity to try out brands you may not have used before. All skill levels are welcome for this drop in. Photos in this email show some of the products we'll have open and available to sample. That evening, all art supplies in the shop will be 15% off.

The "Art Bar" at Found will be serving up WATERCOLOR supplies during the first 2026 Ann Arbor Gallery Night in Kerrytown. Stop by to sample luscious Viviva Watercolor Sheets, pans of paint, and yummy gouache, served up with a variety of brushes on various watercolor papers.

This is our first year to join with participating galleries in the Kerrytown District who will welcome the public for special activities on the fourth Thursday of the month from May 28th through September 24th, 2026. Each month, our Art Bar will feature a different category of art supplies that we carry at the shop.

All activities are open to the public from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each participating gallery will host a rotating roster of artist talks, demonstrations, artist pop-ups, and special appearances, welcoming the public to celebrate Ann Arbor's vibrant art scene.
