✌🏼 Two Projects of the Week! When you purchase yarn for the Project of the Week, Spun buys the pattern for you! Both of this week’s POW feature Blue Sky Fibers’ Skyland, new at Spun!
☝🏼 Lombard Hat, by Bobbi IntVeld, in Skyland, a beautiful blend of wool, alpaca & silk, so you know it’s super soft! The Lombard Hat uses the double lattice stitch which gives the look of all-over cables but without the process of cable knitting.
✌🏼 Emerald Isle Cowl by Mary Pranica, uses Skyland and adds Brushed Suri for the stranded plaid motif. The Brushed Suri creates a subtle halo on the outer, and on the interior, the fluffy strands are luxuriously insulating. ☺️

💛 Project of the Week: Cloudy Day Sweater, by Suvi Simola, in Harrisville Designs’ Daylights. 💛 When you purchase yarn for the Project of the Week, Spun buys the pattern for you!
Cloudy Day Sweater is a boxy, drop-shoulder pullover with a gorgeous, textured geometric lace front and back. And in Daylights, wow! Daylights is a woolen spun Cormo wool blend that is bouncy and soft and a delight on the needles. Daylights is the natural wool color infused with bits of dyed wool which tint the natural base ever so slightly. Here, CarolSG chose the Over Easy colorway. 💛 It seems like a perfect match to this sweater design!

Technique Tuesday: two-handed stranded colorwork 👀 starts with learning to manage yarn with both hands. 🙌🏼 It can feel so awkward at the beginning. And “beginning” can mean many sessions of practice! Trust your hands to gradually become comfortable and be patient for the tension and stranding to settle in. You’ve got this!
