These are a few pictures from one of my nearly completed kitchen renovations.  This kitchen was completely gutted down to the studs. This very contemporary design has vaulted ceilings which inspired some creative lighting solutions. The adjustable wall mounted lights are not only a beautiful accent, but they provide a great source of task lighting for the work area around the range. This was a very large home, and the range area was quite minimal in the original layout. I removed a hallway between the foyer in the kitchen to allow for a very large and dramatic work area suitable for any culinary expert. The appliances are all Wolf and Subzero.
There are some one of the kind secrets in this kitchen that I cannot reveal, or they would not be secrets. The white oak cabinets were stained to be complementary to the luxury vinyl plank flooring. Mixing it with black is such a rich and striking accent. It ensures that there is not too much wood in the space. The very large island will accommodate any size party and offers an additional sink for food prep. The custom hutch is a nice accent in the kitchen and a great way to showcase the homeowners dishes. The bump out at the opposite end of the island is intended to have a pub table for additional seating.

A few pictures from my latest kitchen renovation. We started out with a traditional cherry kitchen and updated it to this. Everything was redone including the floors which were refinished to blend with the new cabinets. This tri-color kitchen is quite dramatic. White Oak is the key. The black doors add such a dramatic touch. Seven different drawer and door pulls are a detail that is often overlooked. The iron legs under the sink base and turned leg on the beverage station are just a few more of the appointments that make this a one of a kind kitchen. Oh, and don’t forget the Wolf and Subzero appliances – essential for any culinary expert.
