The Blessing of the Fleet at the 2026 Florida Seafood Festival will be held at the CIty Riverfront Park in Apalachicola on Friday, November 6, 2026. The event will start with vessel line-up at the Apalachicola River Bridge in the main channel and proceed up river into the Sipio Creek starting at 4:00pm. All vessels will be following the Florida Seafood Festival Queen and King Retsyo aboard the shrimp boat "THE MARINER".
All vessels wishing to participate, please be in the line up at the bridge and stay tuned to VHF channel 09 for further instructions as we process up river. We will process up river to assist in maintaining steerage for the larger boats. Please leave approximately 40 - 50 yards between the vessels to receive a propblessing by the many Clergy that will be participating.
