Hello Thursday! ☀️

Yesterday got up to 96° here, and I have to admit, I was surprised! And with the humidity, it definitely felt like summer was making one last big statement.

Today we’re supposed to be back in the upper 80s. I only have a few errands to run, and then the rest of the day is MINE!

I have a few things that have been patiently waiting for my attention, so today seems like the perfect day to catch up. It will be too hot and humid outside today! Of course, whether I actually get all of them done is another story.

Wait a minute, September 1st?! 😳

Everyone seems to be rushing into fall already, but I have news for you -

Fall doesn’t officially start until September 22, nd! 🍂

So I have three whole weeks to enjoy summer before I have to even think about fall. And since fall is not my favorite time of year, you can bet I’m going to take summer for as long as it lasts! ☀️🌻

Sorry, pumpkin spice, you’re just going to have to wait. 😂

Happy Friday AND National Senior Citizens Day! 🎉😂

About a month ago, I shared a checklist of things like using a rotary phone, sending something by fax, and recording songs from the radio onto a cassette tape.

Well... it seemed like the majority of us had done everything on that list!

Sooooo... apparently today is a day to celebrate US! 😂😂

I guess we've officially reached the age where the things we grew up with are now considered 'vintage'.
