Hey, long time no talk! Let's get this reintroduction party started!

I'm Marissa, aka Misa, wife, mom, baker, and now bag creator. I've been sewing for about 2-3 years, and aside from a few childhood disasters, I'm self-taught. Every bag is like solving a puzzle blindfolded.

It's been a ridiculously productive summer so far!

For the last year or so I've been making and selling my own bags, mostly to friends, family and a few for gifts because, let's be real, they're my favorite guinea pigs! I really enjoy making them and feel confident to start selling them! 🥰

I don't repeat patterns or use the same fabric combos more than twice, because who needs repetition when you can have variety?! For my bags I often use remnants, a thrifted curtain, or buy 1 yard of a pattern at a time (RIP Joann's). So if you see a bag that you adore, grab it before someone else does, because trust me, it won't be made again!

Well if definitely has been a busy couple of months. Which unfortunately has left quite a lack a creativity. With not wanting to push it too much I stopped trying to paint for myself until I had a idea I wanted to pursue.

Which brings me to my recent pieces 😍 It feel very good to being able to take part in my art again. With a series I have really grown to love and a holiday I'm always happy to celebrate.
