Hey everyone! Just thought I’d send an update that I am no longer working in Wisconsin. I’ve moved to Colorado and hopefully will get back to work there but for now, I am no longer doing any new projects. Thanks for all the work and support!! I couldn’t have done it without you!

Here is the before and after of the door from the previous video! Another ‘orange stripper’ attempt that they quickly realized was not working out well. Lol.

Time lapse video of me stripping a door. Pretty cool to see! The actual time was only about 10-15 minutes.

Rocking chair I just refinished which turned out fantastic! This was another project that someone ‘gave up’ on and brought to me to fix 🙃. Here is my secret tip...‘don’t use the orange stripper’. It’s a nightmare!!

Getting close to being finished! Thanks for the input, but I went with wood legs for this one mostly because I could do them myself and cost much less than getting metal ones. Maybe I’ll start making more tables and do some on the next one!

I made the base smaller than some tables I’ve seen, but I did so intentionally so that every person sitting at the table can scoot in without hitting their legs or being uncomfortable. I have put the first coat of epoxy on and have to wait for that to cure before I can add more. When it is finished it will be a smooth, glassy finish that can withstand almost anything! Then I’ll seal off the sides and base and the table will be complete!!

I’m thinking of selling it for $600 so if you’re interested in buying it, please send me a message. I’m thinking about also making a matching bench for one side, so that would be an additional cost but would definitely look good with the table!

I’ll post photos of the completed table soon!!!

Step 3 of my table top is complete. I got some 1x6 pine boards and used several different colors of stain to match the color of pallet boards I used for the top. Then I cut them to size and attached them to the sides. I ordered epoxy for the top so once I get that in, I’ll pour it on to fill all the holes and give it a smooth finish.

What do you think I should do for the table legs?? Continue with the wood and make legs for it or should I do something more industrial with metal or pipe?? I’ll take any suggestions 😁. Thanks!

Step one of my table top is complete. After playing around with the pieces and colors pattern, I removed all the nails from the wood. It wasn’t fun and my hands are sore but necessary in order to plane down the wood. I planed down the backside of the wood in order to keep the wood’s authentic look on top and used wood glue and fishing nails to attach them to a piece of plywood. Once I was satisfied with the top, I used a circular saw to cut the edges so they are symmetrical and all the corners are square.

Next step is to fill in some of the little cracks where the boards refused to sit flush lol. I’m still trying to figure out how exactly I want to do that and what type of sealer I want to use as a finish. I’m not planning on staining it as I like the color it is just from being out in the sun.

I’ll update again soon 😬

So I’ve decided to completely redo the table and here is what I have so far...nothing has been done yet, just laid out the design for the top. Haven’t figured out what I’m going to do with the legs yet, but they will go with the style (I just laid boards against them for an idea). I’m excited to see how it turns out!! I’ll keep you posted with photos as I go.

This is just a before and after photo of the stripper that I use. In the black photo you can see the stripper is already starting to work. The photo on the left is still wet so it lightens up quite a bit when dry. So much easier to strip it first and then sand it 😁.

Message me for a quote to strip and sand your piece! I can refinish it also!

Besides making mobile sports carts lately (they’re a hit if you have kids and they play outside; photo included, order yours today $275), my most recent project is another of my own that will be for sale when completed.

If you’re interested, message me and I can work with you for the finished color and style.

My sister-in-law gave me a table and chairs she bought but couldn’t refinish on her own. I’m currently in the middle of planing down the top to remove all the veneer and will repair any of the gouged out spots from her trying to do it 😜. Once completed, I’ll strip the base, sand the top and refinish. It’s going to be a very long and tedious process. But it will be all worth it in the end 😁

A few photos of the before and after on a dresser I just refinished! They wanted purple with some silver/grey accents. I stripped the dresser of the chipped and cracking veneer and then painted it with Sherwin Williams ‘mature grape.’ I used some spray paint to make the design around the handles and finished it off with a simple but elegant design on the Cricut.
