There is help and hope in Al-Anon WSO

What is Al-Anon?
The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Many of us do not realize that living with the family disease of alcoholism – past or present – affects us. In Al-Anon, we learn about the family disease and its effects and how to recognize behaviors and/or survival skills we may have developed in the past that are no longer useful. Once we can identify what’s no longer working, we can make healthier choices.

Hey friends within driving range of Monterey CA…come down and support MBAR, the Monterey Bay Area Roundup, at the Monterey Conference Center. AA conference with Al-Anon participation. Marathon meetings and great speakers. Kathy and I are selling our recovery and everyday greeting cards both Saturday and Sunday.
