I will be teaching Beading for Beachcombers on July 7 at the Rockport Art Center. Bring a special seashell and learn how to transform it into a beautiful necklace.

July 7, 2023 | 9:30AM-3:30PM The class will teach students to use polymer clay and some simple seed bead stitches to create a pendant from a shell.  We will also create a wire bail from which to hang the pendant and learn some basic jewelry making techniques for assembling a chain.&a

I will be teaching the Lucky Lady Chain necklace on March 14th at 10 am at the Bead Studio in Rockport, Texas.

This is fun class that teaches how to build a beaded chain with seed beads.

The class is 4 hours and costs $40 plus materials. The only prerequisite is tubular herringbone stitch.

I haven't been beading much lately, but I am trying to get back into it. I was looking for a fairly simple but fun project and found this needlecase pattern by Sian Nolan on Etsy. It was originally supposed to be Frida, but she offered this idea to make it a Dia de los Muertas theme - perfect for South Texas! The skull bead came from The Bead Studio.
