🌿 Earth Day, the Fernberry way 🌿

We’re excited to be part of the Earth Day Festival hosted by Blue Ridge Artisan Market at Lennox Station in Hendersonville next Saturday, April 25—right alongside the Ecusta Trail 🌎

This is one of our favorite events of the year—and we’re doing things a little differently…

We’ll have fresh soap loaves on the table, and we’ll be cutting your bars to order right in front of you ✂️🧼
No excess packaging—just beautiful, handmade soap sold naked, then quickly wrapped in eco-friendly paper and sent home with you.

We’ll also be blending and bottling our popular room + body mist to order—another way we’re cutting down on waste while giving you a fresh, made-for-you experience 🌿

It’s simple, low-waste, and honestly… really fun to watch.

This is one of those “full circle” moments that doesn’t quite feel real yet.

We’re beyond excited to share that Fernberry is working on a custom candle collaboration with FIND Outdoors, who manages both the Cradle of Forestry and the Pisgah National Forest Visitor Center.

To have the opportunity to create something just for them is truly a dream come true.

I spent so many summers and fall days growing up exploring the Pisgah National Forest and visiting the Cradle—it’s a place that shaped a lot of my love for the outdoors, and honestly, a big part of what inspires Fernberry today. To now have our candles connected to that same place… it means everything.

We’re crafting something really special for this collaboration—something that captures the spirit, the air, and the feeling of being there.

✨ You can expect to see this custom candle hitting their shelves in the next month or so.

One question I always get from folks who aren’t familiar with soap making is — what does the soap look like before it’s cut?

Here’s a look at a fresh six-loaf batch we made yesterday 👀

This right here is 30 lbs of soap… which turns into about 90 bars once we slice it. Every order we receive is cut straight from the master loaf, wrapped, and shipped out fresh to you. Nothing sitting on shelves for months — just small-batch, made with care.

There’s something special about seeing it in this stage… raw, uncut, and full of character 🤍

The studio smells incredible, the wicks are set, and it’s that quiet, satisfying kind of tired you only get after a full production run.

Grateful for every order, every restock, and every one of you who keeps this small business moving. Tomorrow, we do it all again.

NEW COLLECTIONS and WEBSITE are LIVE! Today was one of those long, full, slightly chaotic — but really good — kind of days.

We finally launched all three of our candle collections, along with 7 brand new scents we’ve been working on behind the scenes. It feels really good to have everything out in the world.

You can now shop by atmosphere depending on your mood:
The Mountains 🌲
The Coast 🌊
The Town 🏙️

This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while — making it easier to shop based on how you want your space to feel, not just the scent name.

We also gave the website a pretty big upgrade. It’s cleaner, more elevated, and honestly feels a lot more like us. Still a work in progress and we’ll keep tweaking things over the next few days, but it’s live and ready to shop.

🍂 Join us this Saturday from 1–7 PM at Sweeten Creek Brewing for the Farmshire Vegan Festival! 🌿

All Fernberry products are completely free of animal byproducts — but even if you’re not vegan, you’ll still want to come out for this one! This event is always a great time with two awesome food trucks, a live band, multiple local artisans, and some fun raffles throughout the day.

It’s the perfect way to spend a crisp autumn afternoon — good vibes, great people, and an amazing venue at Sweeten Creek Brewing. 🍻
