We truly don’t have the words. 🥹🤎

Seeing this line of people waiting to get in when we opened yesterday was something we never could have imagined when we dreamed up Compound & Co. Some of you were here as early as 6:30 AM, and nearly 80 of you were waiting when we opened the doors!!

We are just so, so grateful. Our family has loved vintage and antiques for years, and it’s a dream come true that we get to do this together. Thank you SO MUCH for making it possible.

This is the sale you’ll want to make plans for, vintage lovers!! 🤩

The Compound & Co. Vintage and Antiques Sale is THIS Saturday, September 5, and it’s no doubt our biggest sale yet (so big that we can’t include all the pictures in this one post!! 🙃)

We’ve been hunting like crazy over the summer, and the compound is absolutely packed full with incredible vintage and antique finds. There is so much more inventory for this sale than we’ve ever had before, and we’re so excited to finally give you a look at what’s coming!

If you’ve shopped our last two sales, you know we usually open at 9 AM. But this Saturday we’re switching things up!

With no fall temperatures in sight, we figured an earlier start (and earlier finish!) might help us all beat a little bit of the Oklahoma heat.

Meet Ezella, the newest cabinet addition to the Compound. 🤎

Ezella is named after Cathy’s husband Eddie’s mother, and she has quite a story to tell.

This cabinet is architectural salvage from the home Eddie grew up in from the time he was in 8th grade until he graduated high school. The home sat on his mother’s family’s original Native American allotment. Eddie is Mississippi Choctaw, and the property has been part of his mother’s family history for generations.

The original home on the allotment was built in 1903 by Eddie’s grandfather. After an overnight storm damaged the house, the family moved a “new” house onto the property in the early 1960s. That house had originally been built in the 1940s, and it’s where this cabinet came from.

Now, decades later, a piece of that home has found its way to the Compound. And as if the history wasn’t enough, Ezella also gives us some pretty incredible extra display space. As you can see, she’s already settling right in. 😉

We can’t wait for you to meet her in person at our next vintage and antiques sale!
