Hallelujah, He has risen! In Jesus, all hope is found!
As we celebrate the Jewish Feast of Unleavened Bread, we remember God’s deliverance in the Exodus, a shadow of the greater deliverance through the Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Friends, have you heard the good news?
“Messiah died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day.” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
“He who knew no sin became sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
We have all sinned against a holy God, yet in His love and mercy, He has made a way to save. God the Son became our substitute, taking our place on the cross, so that in Him we receive His righteousness and new life through His resurrection. He is risen!
God offers this free gift of salvation to all who would repent and believe in Him: forgiveness, reconciliation to the Father, and abundant, eternal life. It is comforting to know that there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation. This is a gift of grace received by faith in God’s work alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Have you turned to Jesus, trusting in His work alone?
Everything changed the day I placed my faith in Him, that was the day He freed me from sin’s grip, and I have been walking with him ever since. God’s Word is truth. I am a new creation in Messiah Jesus. If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
