Last week I took my content area exam. Yesterday I found out I passed AND finished my online coursework. 1,024 half-square triangles in this . That's overwhelming. I finally sat down and started tackling this project in a sustainable manner. Batch cutting the sewn squares. Using a ruler the same size as the finished triangle and a rotating cutting mat. Limiting pressing and trimming to 16 triangles at a time. And suddenly, quilting is fun again. I've missed this.

I am obsessed with this project. Corner to corner blocks in a gingham pattern. Inspired by and using her lovely tutorials.

The blanket is for my middle daughter's dorm room as she heads to college in August.

I think I bought too much yarn. Oh well. Might have to make a second one!!

New project on the hook. Pattern is sort-of Ocean Shores from the website (but I couldn't figure out row two of the repeat, so I just mirrored the first). Working with two yarns on the hook is a challenge. It has a lovely, light, soft texture. Hope your weekend includes time for crafting!!
