Curious Canary CuriousCanary is an antiques and oddities sourcing company that specializes in the collecting and selling of bizarre, strange, and historically macabre items.

My goal is to collect as many strange, weird, and rejected items from the past and present and make them approachable in a way that will give the viewer a deep desire to ask more questions. I want those teetering on the edge of the fringe to willingly explore and discover “dark” objects and unpopular history.

Ever heard of “murder bottles?” During the Victorian period, new innovations with rubber and a bottle design allowed for toddlers to feed themselves.

Unfortunately, not a lot was known about bacterial growth. Improper cleaning methods allowed for deadly bacteria to grow within the tubing and bottle.
