This artwork is titled "Snow Nom" and was created by Australian artist Ashley Wood.
In giving a worn and hands on feel to the inner mats with painted elements in sharp contrasts to the precision cuts from our Wizard. The overall work adds depth and leans into the meaning of the art piece.
Because of his style from oil painting and digital mixing as well as the apocalyptic context of this work in particular. We aimed to create a portal to the eye of the viewer as well as one for the soldier.
With this means of aide or assist it gives us the chance to truly engage with the artwork and add to the story that Wood so very cleverly lays out.
