Working on a new project. This year I'm working with the Wool Lead Show at the Eddy County Fair. It is a fashion and sheep show. The showcases outfits made from wool and where it comes from.
I decided to make myself an outfit showing the versatility of wool and that is not just for cold winter days. Both these fabrics are soft and light weight.

2024 Christmas Trees. I love decorating trees. I Love that I can create trees that fit multiple styles and themes. The satin bow was so fun to build and was the simple elegant design needed at . The next two trees were at . The first one is a garden tool themed tree with pretty boxes of garden scissors and Farmers defense sleeves. It also features hand-made twig wreaths. The next tree at the store is a flower themed tree with wood flowers, handmade jute ball ornaments, and hand panted signs by . The last set of trees, all 4 of them are at my house and are mixed with traditional Christmas colors of red and green with some beautiful plaid mixed. All the trees are setting in a planter or some type of pot. I love them up and off the floor. It helps to add to the beauty of the tree.

My designer pumpkin patch. This was a fun project using some smaller fabric pieces i had stored away. These are going to look great on the dining table.

I have been wanting to make this bag for a while. Finely got to get some sewing therapy in and get it made. I love how it turned out and how fun it is.

I have not been posting much mainly because I dont get to sew that much these days. This summer, Mak wanted to participate in the wool lead again. She decided she wanted a modern historical outfit. For this show, the outfit has to be made of wool, and they have to show a fine wool lamb. Mak did not place this year, and that is ok. We had a lot of fun and we all learned new things. This outfit was challenging, but it came out great in the end.

It has been awhile since I have had this beautiful work horse out. It spent almost a year in it's case. I forgot how much I love sewing with it. This is me making straps for a computer bag.
