Big News this Thanksgiving - my portfolio site is live!
This is where my photographic practice of gratitude and series live intentionally, each one shaped by ecology, emotional resonance, and the healing power of place.
Each season, I'll be releasing a new photo series alongside a Substack magazine called Seeking Awe - a space for reflection, fieldwork, and symbolic storytelling rooted in nature.
The first set of articles launches next month, but the portfolio is ready now.
If the last six months has shown me anything, it's that we can rapidly develop our skills with concerted, targeted effort. I am proud of the ground I've covered in digital editing, as evidenced in the American Southwest Pilgrimage No. 1 series I released earlier this year. Tracking moose at in the . I didn’t come across any moose, but it fed my soul to be out there. I was able to capture both vistas and details, including the most beautiful white granite boulder with huge chunks of mica. Mica is the shiny stuff you see sparkling on the ground as you walk by, and concentrated into large pieces, it is stunning. It is such a privilege to live so close to , and being able to get out there weekly. Looking forward to capturing the transition into Fall!

Today's the Day! We're launching June Moon Studios, our artisan line. Over the years, I've passed by so many beautiful gemstone pieces set in silver because I'm more of a gold girl. And I've noticed I'm not alone. For the Fall 2024 Collection, I decided to bring beaded gemstones and gold filled hardware together for a more modern and elegant twist on a classic look.
