"We are the Murray’s: Ben, Nicole and our two daughters, Kayo and Segen. We reside in Southwest Missouri where we love all things outdoors. Printing apparel started for Nicole in 2016 when her prayer was answered of being able to earn extra income from time to time while staying home to raise and homeschool their daughters. She is a God-fearing, country-living, Patriotic wife and Mama. You will see these attributes reflected in the clothing she offers. RSCC got it's name from a ring shank nail. When building a structure, the nail is the piece that holds it all together. Nicole’s desire is to provide you with those favorite pieces of clothing that become the nail in your wardrobe; holding it all together."

We've been rather backed up on all of our messages and to those of you still waiting to hear from us, We are so sorry! Seems we caught a gift of sickness on Christmas day and it just kept right on giving, especially for our baby and its been survival taking care of the sick ones and managing our farm BUT, dare I say we are making good improvements and we should be caught up and moving forward by the end of this weekend, if you have messaged and we still have not got back to you, please don't hesitate to reach out again just in case it got lost through all this mess, Thank you for patience and we hope ya'll had a much better Holiday season and a great start to your New Year!

In 2018-2019, I found myself in a space many women might - navigating life as a new mom. Wanting to be a stay-at-home mom, I desired to create something I could claim as my own work while still being able to contribute to my family and offer a valuable product to others. So I started to research how to make handmade, cold-process soap. Before establishing Sacred Roots, I was immersed in health+nutrition and came to understand how critical it was to live a natural, low-toxin lifestyle. Sacred Roots encompasses and represents that with luxurious plant-based handcrafted soaps!
Through their health+wellness journey, Zach and Kristi (along with their son Jeremiah) desired to leave the city and live a debt-free, homesteading lifestyle. In 2021, we moved 2,000+ miles from everything we knew to 22-acres in the Ozarks of SW Missouri, where we now enjoy discovering and navigating a more self-sufficient life. Zach is a machinist by trade and works on homestead building projects, while Kristi manages the home and oversees homeschooling Jeremiah - amid running her soap and their coffee roasting businesses.
Upon moving to our 22-acre homestead property (aside from gardening, raising chickens, and making soap) we started to consider additional ways to diversify the use of our time, resources and capabilities. In October, 2021 we started roasting our own coffee in the comfort of our home. A year later, Kristi was afforded the opportunity to co-op roast at a local coffee shop and worked on perfecting our roasts ever since. In January 2023, we began bringing our coffee to our local communities, and continued to build our brand and presence through local pop-up events and festivals throughout the year. By August 2023, we built out a small coffee roasting room and have gradually grown our coffee offerings to 5 blends and 3 single-origin organic options as well as Swiss Water Process Decaf options. We offer 8-oz and 16-oz Whole Bean and Ground packaged coffees, as well as 5-pound Custom Orders.

How This Works:
We strive to make it as easy as possible for you to support all of the wonderful products made right here in our backyard.

We have a search feature where you can search for an individual product or if you already have a business that you are loyal to and just want to see their products you can search for that business name and all of their items will come up.

Delivery and pick up days will be on Saturday at this time with mid week coming soon.

During the check out process you will see 3 options to receive your product.

1. For a handling fee of $5 you can pick up your items in Ash grove, MO. As of right now we will contact you via email, phone or text to arrange the location and time.

Coming soon: We are so excited to be partnering with the Ash Grove Farmers Market and working to get a store front open that will serve as our hub where producers bring their product and we can package everything together and that will serve as the location for pick up so be watching for that exciting news!

2. With a shipping and handling charge of $15 we will have a pick up point at Hobby Lobby in Springfield, MO. We will confirm address and time with you via email, phone or text.

We will be adding pick up points as we grow so share, share SHARE to get this option in your area!!!!

3. For a shipping and handling fee of $25 we will personally deliver straight to your door, or if the case requires it we will utilize UPS. Please note UPS deliveries may require a different delivery day to make sure your items don't sit in a warehouse over the weekend. We will inform you via email, phone or text before shipping any items to you so you know when to expect your package!

*Please note that for home delivery, if your items are perishable and you are not home to recieve your package, you will need to make arrangements such as a cooler with ice, ect. to make sure your items stay frozen or cool untill you can get them.

Hey Guys! We wanted to jump on here and introduce ourselves and let you see a little glimpse of who we are. We are Nick and Cortney Matthews, proud parents of 3, energetic and onery little boys and we have a small farm in Southwest Missouri that consist of 3 dogs, a cat who thinks he's the prince of the farm, a few cows, sheep, a growing herd of dairy goats, an insane amount of Rabbits, hogs, chickens, ducks, peafowl and a lovely goose. We always say welcome to the zoo, its alot of work but we love almost every minute of it! 🤣
Nick had the vision for MoMadeNow when he saw the food shortages that 2020 brought to us, yet here we sat with plenty of pastured pork and chicken but lacking the ability to spend an entire day at a farmers market because the closest one to us was over 45 minutes away, and a website for a small bussiness can be overwhelming and eat up a large chunk of profits so we struggled to get our name out there in our limited free time, then came all the Amazon packages that he rolled his eyes at because as a busy homeschooling mama, I dont have the time to travel to all the different farms and small bussiness shops to buy local even though that is where our passion is so one day He said to me "Someone needs to make a local website that includes all small bussiness around us on one website with one delievery fee to make it easier for small bussiness to focus on creating quality products and for customers to support small local business and get away from the big box stores." From that day on, ideas and dreams swirled till we couldnt deny the feeling that God wanted us to step out in faith and give it our best effort, despite feeling completely unqualified for the task, and I have to say, God is faithful to put the right people in the right place for everthing to fall into place. It truly is a community to make it all work and that community is what we are looking to grow so whether your a local producer looking for a place to market your goods, or a customer looking to support local bussiness we can promise you we will do our very best to pour our heart and soul into serving you to the best of our ability!
