He Saw My Vision🙏🏼📖🗝️🌿
He Was Just Waiting for the Right One to Plant the Seed. 🌱🕊️🪴🤍
Months ago, I made a post asking if women would want a place to gather. A place to encourage one another, uplift one another, pray together, and share their stories. 🤍🙏🏼🌿
I remember being a little disappointed because I didn’t get the response I had hoped for.
But now I understand. ✨
It wasn’t because women didn’t need that kind of place. God was already putting something together that I couldn’t see yet. 🌱
I had the Venue. I had the vision . But I was missing the person God had chosen to help plant the seed.
And that was you, Lindsey Sills-Brown. 🤍🌿
The more we have gotten to know each other, the more amazed I am by how many pieces of our stories connect. We aren’t even the same age. We grew up differently. Our lives can look completely different from the outside. Yet there are parts of our stories that line up in ways that still make me stop and think, how in the world is this possible? 😭🤍 Is this real. Our walks of life were so similar that it litterally looked like a movie script. People would question is this story real?
And I think that is exactly the point.
God is real.
He can make the impossible, POSSIBLE.
He can turn the unbelievable into.
I BELIEVE
You truly never know someone’s story just by looking at them. 💭
We see the smiles. 😊
We see the pictures. 📸
We see the families, the businesses, the accomplishments, and the parts people are comfortable showing. ✨
But we don’t always see what is underneath.
The hurt. 💔
The questions.
The disappointments.
The battles.
The things people carry quietly. 🙏🏼
Some people hide it very well. Some carry it very deeply. 🤍
That is what Rooted in Faith reminded me of so strongly. 🌿 Every woman who walked through those doors had a story. Some were ready to share it. Some were still living through it. Some may not even have had the words for it yet.
But every one of us has a story within, and every one of us has a story still being written as we speak. 📖✨
Maybe God connected our stories so strongly because one day, pieces of them will help someone else realize, “I’m not the only one.” 🫶🏼
Now I can look back and see that what I had hoped for months ago was already growing. It just had not bloomed yet. 🌱🌸
God knew the right person. 🤍
The right testimony. 🙏🏼
The right time. ⏰✨
Thank you for being willing to share your story. Thank you for giving women hope. And thank you for being the sister God knew I needed too. 😭🤍🌿
Sometimes what looks like two completely different lives on the outside can carry some of the very same chapters within. 📖💚
I am so glad these stories are being written within this walls.
Thank you, Hunter J Cameron, for always being there and helping me bring every little vision to life. 🤍 You never hesitate to jump in, help carry the load, move something, decorate something, or just be there when I need you. So much of what people see at Southern BeStill has your hands and heart in it too. I truly could not do all of this without you. I love you more than you know. 🌿🤍
