Flower 9-1-1s are real 🚨. A bride’s sister reached out last weekend when there was a Temu moment—what the bride wanted vs what she actually got. They called it something like flowers with a side of pickles 😆 In less than 3 hours new flowers were purchased and 2 new bouquets and a table centerpiece were made and out the door to the big celebration. Photos of the Blooms2u creation weren’t taken in the frenzy 😆, but the bride sent the sweetest note afterwards.

The margarita was after my victory lap 🏁36 hours to make and deliver 3 daily arrangements, a wedding bouquet, 13 boutonnieres, 2 birthday centerpieces, 2 funeral sprays, a funeral urn surround and centerpieces, florals for a micro wedding, a “just because” bouquet and 6 centerpieces before walking out the door for a trip to Iceland. Everything is cleaned up (not a leaf to sweep up) and the frig is restocked 🌸for my return. Giving myself a star ⭐️ and a spicy margarita for getting it all done. The hustle is real and the satisfaction enormous. Grateful for this work 💞🌸.

What a beautiful morning we shared on March 14th at Cana Vineyard for our Petals and Poses event! We enjoyed a gentle yoga practice led by Exhale Yogi’s Rhonda Wilson, followed by flower arranging, wine, and wonderful conversation together.

We truly love sharing our passions and creating these meaningful experiences with such an amazing group of women. It was the perfect morning out for all the ladies who joined us to relax, connect, and enjoy the day.

Purple stole the spotlight that day — regal, romantic, and just a little dramatic (as purple tends to be). Fun fact: throughout history, purple was once considered the color of royalty because the dye was so rare and expensive that only emperors and the ultra-wealthy could afford it. Honestly, this celebration understood the assignment.

Set inside one of Washington DC’s more unexpected venues, the glass-enclosed space glowed with every shade of purple imaginable — from soft lavender to deep plum. The result? An intimate dinner for 150 guests that somehow felt both grand and cozy at the same time. Proof that purple isn’t just a color… it’s a personality.

Micro weddings and elopements are just as special to me as the big weddings. Congratulations to this sweet couple who received their military commissions last week and were married on Monday. Each of them will head to their assigned bases.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, their dedication to military service makes this moment even more meaningful — a reminder of the commitment, sacrifice, and love of country ❤️ that so many service members share. I’m grateful for their commitment to serving our nation and for the love and partnership they’ve found in each other.
