They moved to their present location at 2404 N. Fayetteville St. in 1956. Hardin’s incorporated in 1970 after son Tal joined the business upon graduation from Appalachian State University. Tal’s wife, Gay, took over the bookkeeping duties in 1974 and continues in that position today. Their son, Brian, was the third generation to join the business in 1995 and is the company’s vice-president. Joe Ha
