I just want to take a sec to plug my favorite entry level chisels. I get nothing for this plug, but I hope up and coming woodworkers can benefit from it. STANLEY Tools, North America Sweetheart 750 series is a fantastic and affordable set of chisels. They come with a good edge ( additional sharpening strongly encouraged if you know how), hold said edge, and sharpen easily. I’m a big fan.
I believe they sell a smaller set of 4 or five sizes as well as the 8 pack.
