RACHEL WEISBERG creates unique, hand-made clothing that is easy to wear while revealing edginess and sex appeal. All of her designs—apparel, jewelry, and home products--are inspired by an environmental and social consciousness and are made from sustainable materials. Weisberg sees sustainability as a way of living and feels it can be incorporated into daily life. Each product is purely handmade fr
om sustainable materials, locally sourced, with the use of organic cotton, grown and spun in the United States and treated with natural, low impact dyes. All leathers are repurposed, with the use of vintage fabrics contributing a unique aesthetic. The home products (pillows, blankets, textiles) are all made from remaining pieces of the designer’s previous collections, minimizing waste. Each of Weisberg’s products is one of a kind. She seeks to create a connection between designer and consumer that is frequently lacking in today’s market. Rachel Weisberg studied at Parsons the New School for Design in New York and trained with innovative professors Susan Cianciolo and Pascal Gatzen who are pioneers in the movement of environmentally and socially conscious design. After years of interning and working under other designers, she launched her own line in 2012. STOCKISTS:
