Last year I took a huge leap and started my interior decorating business, Nonyx Interiors. I have worked with some amazing people that have trusted me with their homes, and I need a couple more to further build out my portfolio. Is anyone interested?
I love problem-solving in challenging spaces and incorporating antique and artist-made pieces into my designs. My goal is to make your home feel uniquely you and work for you and your lifestyle. I am hoping to find someone that is interested in a quick turn-around, so that I have some more photographs for my upcoming website, but I am open to longer-term arrangements as well.
We will start with a consultation so I can understand your space, budget, and desired aesthetic. Once I have a clear vision in mind, I will create a to-scale 3D mock-up and review furniture picks with you before purchasing.
My specialty includes refinishing existing furniture and decor where possible, finding unique pieces from local makers, looking for that perfect Marketplace find, scouring Etsy, or even revitalizing family heirlooms to match your desired style. Lastly, I will finish the project with full set-up and staging, including hanging art, curtains, and potting plants. I can also work with any sub-contractors and manage renovations if needed.

I am an Asheville local and grew up in the area. I left my Chemistry career to do some soul searching and work as an artist full-time. While I am self-taught in this field, I am deeply familiar with design styles, furniture makers (modern and throughout history), and home renovations.
I love revitalizing and repurposing furniture.
I believe that beautiful surroundings can be created on most any budget, and I have proven that to be true over the years.
The cornerstone of my business is transparent, commission-free pricing. I make money only from my work and do not make commission from selling higher-end pieces. That way, you know my recommendations are reliable and truly what I believe works best for you.
I think it’s important that everyone feels comfortable and happy in their home. Afterall, it’s where we spend most of our time, where we recharge, and where so many memories are made. I want Nonyx Interiors to help people create spaces that are reflections of themselves.
