The connections l’ve made have been my favorite part of starting my own business.
I’ve been eyeballing ‘s work since I made the switch into the design world and I’m so glad our DM’s turned to texts and matcha dates. So when she asked if I wanted to do a shoot of a collected, lived-in space (if you’re confused, go check out my substack), I cried a lil. Two dreams coming true at once: getting to collect, style, and stage a space to create the Pinterest board of my dreams AND to work with Chelsea?!? Bless.
So, for your viewing pleasure … my office. Staged with my s**t (referenced in only the most endearing way), textiles, art, masks, lanterns, and chair from the angels at , and featuring my cat Squid (the infamous).
A quote from the ‘stack: “My draw to intentional, curated spaces seems to be a similar movement online. It appears that there’s been an increase in chatter and Pinterest searches on
‘intentional maximalism,’ ‘eclectic decor,’ and ‘vintage eclectic’. This comes hand in hand with a push towards sourcing vintage clothing and accessories instead of resorting to fast fashion”.
If this is the sign you needed to pull out your grandmas old weird art, do it.
