Welcome Mitch Capps (doodle dude) to the Birthday Bash artist line up! 🥳🤖🌈🎨✌🏽

Mitch is an artist set up at RAD Rendezvous in the River Arts District Asheville ! He is known for his one of a kind “doodes” on paper, canvas, skate decks, shoes and more! His art is unique to his personal and energetic style. Mitch is a true baller. 😎🏀

You’ll find Mitch set up outside playing with the NEW paint makers by Liquitex ! He will showcasing how opaque, vibrant and versatile these markers can be while demonstrating their use on various surfaces. He might even have some of his originals for purchase… 😉

We are so excited to share Maddie + Tyler Kay will be set up at our ONE YEAR Birthday Bash!! 📸

This dynamic duo is located here in WNC and will be offering the vintage one of a kind tintype portrait photography on location! Yes, at the store!!

Tintype was created in 1853 and has become known as the “Polaroid of the 19th Century.” Tintype is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a sheet of metal. We are happy to be apart of this dynamic and unique experience!

They will be set up from 10-4 and are on a first come first serve basis. Come early to sign up and snag a spot!

Would you like to become an art supply expert?
Asheville Art Supply is hiring!!!

Requirements:
•a friendly, positive attitude 😊
•fine arts experience; retail and POS experience would be a plus but is not a necessity
•ability to lift 10+ lbs
•reliable transportation

Info for you:
•part time is 15-20 hours a week
•store hours are 10-7 Mon-Sat
•dress attire is business casual

Our FREE workshop with will take place Tuesday, June 9th from 1-3pm at our store.

Signup will begin Wednesday, June 3rd. There will be a limited amount of spots so make sure to secure your place as soon as signup opens!

Attendants will enjoy an instructive afternoon class covering what makes the perfect plein air palette, the practicality of watercolor and gouache for plein air use, and other helpful guided resources for the outdoor painter.

In conjunction with Winsor & Newton’s ArtMail initiative, Reuben will show attendants how he uses Winsor & Newton paint to create landscapes that honor the beauty of the place we call home, Western North Carolina. The summertime is the perfect time to explore painting outdoors, and there’s no better subject than the Blue Ridge Mountains in full summer bloom🌲🪻🌼

We still have so much share, however, we did want to take a moment post show to say THANK YOU.

Thank you to for putting on a great show. Thank you to all the companies, artists, and creators who shared their knowledge, skills and what this industry has to offer. Thank you to those who took extra time to sit and chat with us and learn about our passion for art and our desire to create. Thank you to those who let us rest in their booth, experiment with products, spent their evenings hanging out with us and having a fun time. Special thank you to those who have embraced us as this new small business with open arms and are a true guiding light. 😘

Also, thanks to those who watched us make our silly videos and provided great encouragement! We are still learning but are having a great time being goof balls. 🤪😎
