Thank you to all the incredible artists and vendors we have dealt with over 23+ years, its been quite the ride. We are terribly sorry to report that we have closed permanently today due to the losses associated with the flood.

Specifically Bank of America not acting in good faith and taking our software offline today, 1/6/26 after paying on time for 22 years. We have tried everything to stay operational and fought hard, and we had very, very short notice for losing access to how we run MGA.

The crew is absolutely exhausted and we no longer have functioning software or a website.
We have worked tirelessly and thank you for your support, especially since the flood. We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support, but unfortunately the financial losses were too large to overcome. Since we can no longer provide the unique brand of service that led to our success over 23+ years, we do not want to let our hard working customers down, and it is now impossible to operate.

There are a few of you that have an open order for a torch, oxy concentrator, or kiln, we will be doing our best to continue filling as many of those open orders as possible during January as we wind down. If you purchased anything you are unhappy with, or did not receive, please contact your bank and dispute the credit card charges so you can get a full refund.

We did our best to fill all orders. We are filing bankruptcy shortly and you will be able to get a refund from your bank. We no longer have enough staff to respond to phone calls or emails. We are very sorry for any issues this causes and will miss working with all of you we came to know over the years. This is a very sad and difficult situation for us and we wish you all well. Keep the torches 🔥 burning, we will miss you all. ❤️❤️‍🩹🙏

We will put some more posts up of some of the
good old times in the near future.

Kind Regards, Chris, Charlie and the MGA crew

Happy Labor Day to all the wonderful artists who fill our lives with color and smiles !

Labor. It means so much to me right now. My crew and I live and breathe long days to keep MGA going. I’ve never posted this but its long overdue.

My good old friend in this post, Joe Kyle () passed away a year ago, and I wanted to share these last pictures I have, and memories of him. He taught me how to blow glass and without his inspiration, there would have never been a MGA.
We grew up in Ohio until he took off for dead tour. One of his trips home, probably around 1998, he showed me a simple Snodgrass small color changing pipe (It was $50 and would be a $5 spoon today lol). We loved the thing and promptly set about to seeing how fast we could change its color. The rest is history. He left on tour and would call me only to bust my chops and say “hey man, I’m learning the color changing glassblowing thing in Eugene, you should come out! When are you coming out?” Hey called so many times, I finally rolled in my VW with an empty tank and 17 cents left, cards maxed out from the Westfalia breaking constantly, into his driveway in Eugene, only to hear his wife yell “Joey! Theres another hippy living in the driveway!” We all had a good laugh, I guess she didn’t know he had been calling me for years to come out. So I lived in my VW in his driveway and blew glass with any spare moments he had to teach me or when he was off the torch super late at night. I love you brother, you are so missed Joe. Thank you for always being so kind to me and others, living with kindness and for introducing me to Ken Kesey you prankster! For making anyone you would meet laugh, laugh till it hurt. I miss your laugh brother. You left life too suddenly. All I can do is live mine better now, with so many good memories. >> read on in comments >>
