We had a fabulous time during the Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour last weekend. The weather was glorious, my demonstrations were attended by curious and wonderful people, and the general sense of discovery and enthusiasm was infectious. What a great way to celebrate our 20th anniversary!

After taking a bit of time to put the studio back in order, and take a much needed breath, I have taken pictures and updated my website with all the fabulous new work that is still available.

Thank you, thank you to all who came last weekend to the 20th anniversary’s of the Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour! The glorious weather, my fabulous guests (Lucy Fagella, e s, Kate Sprankle, and Wild Life Flowers • Kimberly Longey • Flower Farm), and above all our new and loyal customers alike made this weekend so special. The excitement around pottery was invigorating. Of course, I failed to take any photos at all, but this large vase and all the lovely pots that are still in my showroom will be up on my site sometime in the next week, so stay tuned for that if you weren’t able to make it next weekend.

I’m on the way home from a wedding in Canada, and looking forward to seeing the new pots up close that I unloaded in a hurry the night before I left. I was able to take a quick snapshot of this one before I left. The hollow round “stopper” is the biggest one I’ve made, and feels fabulous in my hand. I can’t believe our 20th Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour (Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour) is this weekend! So exciting!

Well, another rocky and unusual firing. One is a fluke, but two is a worrying pattern. Very long firing with a portion not getting to temperature, but the good news is that we unloaded last night and there are definitely some gems here! Some very interesting and unusual surfaces to share with you at the Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour July 25th and 26th. Off to Toronto for a wedding, but looking forward to spending more time with this work when I get back. I’m not sure how I deserve this incredible crew, but I am so grateful for the humor, persistence, dedication and focus in what ended up basically being an extreme sport for the last shift. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
