The Hilltown 6 (Hilltown 6 Pottery Tour) 20th Anniversary show is now online! If you haven’t been able to make it to PINCH in Northampton to see it in person, you can see it online. These pots are only available until June 30th, and several members of the tour VERY rarely sell online, so now is your chance! Thank you to everyone who came to the festival yesterday! It was a great day, and I really appreciate your support. It’s open today until 5, and you can walk the whole show without going in the rain. So, grab an extra layer and come let the warm colors and music brighten this dreary day.

Well, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. The firing was odd. A section of the kiln that’s usually the hottest didn’t get to temperature, and there was a lot of reduction. So, I’ve been re-firing some pots and taking the rest in. I just love this one so much I had to share. It’s a mad dash to get everything ready for the festival this weekend! There really are some beautiful pots now that I’ve had time to absorb them. Looking forward to it!

We had an unexpectedly and inexplicably difficult firing. Hopefully when we unload on Wednesday we will see some sort of explanation for it. But what I feel incredibly blessed about is the crew this time, especially these four who despite being wrecked, covered in soot and sweat, and mystified still smiled like this at the end of the firing. Can’t thank you all enough for your unflagging resilience and positivity!

Yup, the studio is there somewhere. Just gotta find it. Good news is that I think it finally stopped snowing! AND after a two hour delay, the kids will be back to school tomorrow. Hallelujah. Hope everyone is safe and warm and taking care of their mental health during these multiple layers of madness.

Finally getting around to posting this. I had such a great time teaching a teapot workshop at last weekend! I was impressed by everyone’s openness to trying something new, and I enjoyed the enthusiasm and support that seemed to come naturally to everyone. Some fabulous teapots came out of our relatively short time together, and I’m excited to see what will come in the future! A special thanks to for welcoming us into the space so graciously.

My new studio assistant is pretty clingy but I’m getting used to throwing with her perched like a parrot watching. Getting everything prepped to teach my teapot workshop this weekend at . There is one spot that just opened up!
