Three years ago, I was just trying to figure it outā€”hands in clay, chasing something I couldnā€™t fully explain yet.

Now I look at what came out of this winterā€¦ and it feels different.

The forms are cleaner.
The lines make more sense.
The glaze combos finally hit the way Iā€™ve been seeing them in my head.

Itā€™s like somewhere along the way, I stopped trying to make ā€œgood potsā€ā€¦ and started making my pots.

Thatā€™s the shift no one talks about.

Not just learning how to throw, trim, glazeā€”
but learning how to see.
Learning how to trust your hands.
Learning when to leave something alone.

Three years in, and I finally feel like Iā€™m finding my voice in clay.

Still a long way to goā€¦ but this winter proved something to me:

Iā€™m not guessing anymore.
