Happy Memorial Day! Honor and Remember
What are you doing to celebrate? We will be putting arrangements on my Mom’s, grandparents’ , sister’s and his parents’ graves. None of them died in the service for our country but I’m following my Mom’s example by decorating the graves of our people. I’ve thought of so many more that I wish I could do something for - Aunt Arizona, uncle Herschel and Aunt Jean, Aunt Lynn and Uncle Herbie, Uncle Lloyd and Mary Frances, aunt Lola, Aunt Bessie, Uncle James and Aunt Shirley, dad and Gertrude, Aunt Eula, Aunt Ina, Aunt Gladys, Aunt Janice, Aunt Betty, and I’m sure I’m forgetting so many. As I type these names, I remember times I spent with them growing up. Such good memories. I’ve been blessed.
