UPDATE!!
Good Morning & Happy Friday, Homies!!
We have a busy weekend ahead of us. We’re starting off the weekend strong today with me.. as in me, myself, and only I painting this massive front foyer with 20ft ceilings while I’m on the scaffold. I mean.. how hard can it be, right? 🥴 I’m not getting to the church till lunch time today but, I’ll be LIVE painting once I get there and get everything set up. Yesterday I found an AMAZING deal on marketplace so tomorrow I am picking up the LVP flooring for the house. Just the LVP though, we still need the carpet which is the majority of the flooring needed. Usually this LVP flooring is up to $8/per sqft but we’re getting it tomorrow for only $2.08/per sqft! 🎉 So that means I will need to swap vehicles with Steve and take his truck home with me tonight so I can pick up the flooring in the morning. Steve isn’t getting to the church today till 5-6pm and I have a scheduled battle at 7pm so I don’t have a choice but to stay at the church till my battle is over. Steve is stopping at Home Depot today on his way to the church and renting a tool he needs finish the plumbing in the basement. He’s also grabbing cement board for behind the wood burning stove so we can start stoning it! I’m going to see if he will also pick up some trim so my friend and I can try and install some during the week. My goal is to have the entire house FINISHED being painted by next weekend and then we can move onto trim, stone walls, picture molding etc. I’m busting my butt so much, definitely burning myself out right now but I’m so determined to get our family into this house by the end of July so we don’t have to continue to pay this outrageous rent another month. If battling continues to do well and we keep working our asses off I think it’s possible! This wouldn’t be possible without you guys though and participating in our TikTok battles. TikTok battles are saving us right now so we are forever grateful for you all! See you guys at the church in a few hours!
