For over 30 years Kevin McManamon Design Consultants has been creating beautiful interior spaces for a select and wide variety of residential and commercial clientele. Eight time award winner for The Detroit Home Awards, Kevin’s work is comprehensive, from inception to completion, overseeing ever detail. His style range for clients spans the design world from starkly minimal to exuberantly
traditional. He has created beautiful residences, high-end luxury retail spaces, fine restaurants and executive offices. He managed a staff of six assistants handling projects in states from New York to California as well as Mexico and Europe. Kevin has been widely published nationally and internationally. His design work can be seen in the magazines; Detroit Home, Hour, Traditional Home, Kitchen and Bath Ideas, Beautiful New Homes, Style, Crain’s Executive Homes, Home Plan Ideas, Downtown Birmingham Magazine, Beautiful Interiors, Home Plan Ideas and Case Di Campagna. Kevin was instrumental in the conception and creation of Doodle Home. Doodle Home is a web based company backed by Quicken Loans intent on bringing to-the-trade merchandise direct to the consumer and restructuring and digitizing the entire high-end interior design industry from the consumer to the interior designer, showrooms and manufacturers. He oversaw the social media manager, the web development team, interior designer partners, vendor partners, legal, order processing and delivery. Kevin appeared in a WDIV Local 4 (NBC Detroit) pilot called the Cool Cast which featured local personalities and their personal style. He was also featured in 48009 Signature Magazine and was named one of the top ten most fit Detroiters by Hour magazine. Kevin was a principal at CK Development, a successful real estate development company at which he served as architect, interior designer and construction manager. Kevin has designed hundreds of pieces of custom case-goods, upholstery, built-ins, floor coverings, hardware, lighting and cabinetry all while working with some of the leading brands in the industry. Kevin has overseen the styling and photography of all of the images of his work. Kevin has mentored dozens of young interior designers through his office and lectured professionally about his work at the Michigan Design Center. Kevin has also contributed his skills and talent to many charitable events including the Detroit Symphony Show House, Variety, Care House of Oakland County, DIFFA and most recently Kevin is the designer for the 25th Annual Michigan Opera Theater Ball. Kevin attended Lawrence Technological University where he studied architecture. He also attended Michigan State University where he was student in the Fine Arts and Interior Design program.
