The most magical primary bedroom. Our client, an avid skier and outdoors-lover, asked for a bedroom with a great view. Mission accomplished!

Seamless built-in cabinetry houses their found treasures, soft integrated lighting creates a warm evening glow, two incredibly comfortable chairs (you should feel these!) are the owners’ favorite spot. A sleek walk-in closet sits adjacent the primary bath...which we’ll show you another day. But for now, let’s talk about that view! The Continental Divide and Aspen Mountain...then extending down to Sopris. Pretty incredible.

Memorial Day in the mountains, with one extraordinary outdoor theatre (with motorized screen where movies can be watched during the day or night), outdoor living, kitchen and game room that opens completely to the outdoors. Throw in the infinity edge pool and hot tub and you’ve got the very best in outdoor living! All of this powered by geothermal and solar, earning this private residence, a LEED For Homes certification! One of our favorite clients and favorite homes.

We’re honored to share that Alpha 1 received a LUXE Red Award from LUXE Interiors + Design for WOW Factor Room last night!

At the heart of the home, the Great Room was designed to do exactly that. Framed by expansive glass and anchored by a sense of warmth and scale, it blurs the line between indoors and out, opening to sweeping views while remaining deeply grounded and inviting. It’s a space that brings people together, where interiors and architecture work in quiet harmony to create something both striking and effortless.

We’re incredibly grateful to our clients for their trust, and to the talented collaborators and our CCA interiors and architectural teams who brought this vision to life. And sincere thanks to and the team at for recognizing this project.

A hot-rolled steel linear fireplace floats in the Sunshine Mountain living room against concrete walls and softened by wood ceilings and views of Aspen Mountain. A perfect spot to take in the mountain views.

Perched atop a steep Red Mountain site, Sunshine Mountain stands a sculptural response to one of Aspen’s most challenging yet rewarding sites. Three distinct volumes of glass, concrete, and steel feel both grounded and weightless, while a living green roof stitches the architecture back into the landscape. Inside, the material palette is tactile yet restrained, allowing form, light, and view to lead.

Thank you to and at for the beautiful feature of this stunning new residence in the March/April 2026 issue. We are so grateful! Additionally, we thank the team at for their attention to detail, craftsmanship and supreme care. Above all, we are deeply grateful to our clients; your vision, thoughtful engagement, and spirited approach made the entire process a genuine pleasure.
