Exceptional from every angle.

A documented 1940s French Art Deco sideboard by A. Bicchierini of Marseille, defined by extraordinary scale, richly figured burl veneer, and its original black Portoro marble top.

At nearly 99 inches wide, the sideboard balances monumental proportions with beautifully considered details—from the symmetrical burl façade and rounded corners to the fitted interior and original maker’s plaque.

Sourced in Provence, France. Structurally restored and refinished.

The art of keeping secrets.

At first glance, restrained. Open it, and an entirely different story unfolds.

Drawers within drawers, hidden compartments, an original leather writing surface, and more than two centuries of beautifully preserved character. Crowned in veined marble and crafted in walnut, this late 18th-century French Louis XVI secrétaire was designed as much for discretion as it was for writing.

Some things are better kept under lock & key.

The beauty of Louis XVI design is in the balance.

By the late 18th century, French furniture had begun moving away from the curves and ornament of the Louis XV period toward something more architectural - symmetry, straight lines, fluted columns, tapered legs, and details borrowed from classical antiquity.

That influence continued long after the reign of Louis XVI, and this mid-20th-century French sideboard is a beautiful example of its lasting appeal. The classical structure is still there, but the richly figured mahogany gives it a much warmer, more dramatic presence, finished with brass details and a Carrara marble top.

There is a reason Thonet remains one of the most celebrated names in furniture history.

For more than a century, its bentwood designs have shaped cafés, homes, and public interiors around the world. Elegant in their simplicity and revolutionary in their construction, they continue to feel remarkably relevant today.

This rare late 19th-century set of ten Wien Model No. 32 dining chairs was sourced in Lyon, France and thoughtfully restored while preserving its historic character. Paired with custom embroidered linen seat cushions, the collection offers a contemporary interpretation of one of Thonet's most enduring designs.
