This handsome piece is a Victorian-era quarter-sawn tiger oak buffet in beautiful condition. Victorian furniture, which often blended Gothic, Rococo, and Renaissance styles, was known for its ornate, elaborate designs and intricate details, such as deep carvings and organic motifs. We can picture this statement-maker as an anchor piece in a myriad of spaces, functioning as a bar buffet, entryway organizer, or a hutch for linens and such in a home interior or hospitality setting.

Braziers were essential fixtures in 19th-century homes in the Ottoman Empire and were typically placed in the center of a room on a wooden platform to serve as a communal heating source. The perforated lid served a critical purpose, allowing heat to radiate evenly while providing the airflow needed to keep the embers burning without producing excessive smoke indoors. Pictured here is a vintage Turkish bell brazier. We can see it serving its traditional purpose, as a striking decorative accent for burning incense, or repurposed as a dramatic chandelier.

This charming vintage French service comprises nine unique oyster plates, all handcrafted by the renowned M.B.F.A. Pornic. The mark M.B.F.A. Pornic refers to the Manufacture de Faïence de Bretagne, a renowned French ceramics workshop located in the coastal town of Pornic. Celebrated for its mid-20th-century craftsmanship, the company specialized in hand-painted (peint à la main) works, producing distinctive, highly collectible tableware.
We adore the painterly quality of these plates and think they are perrrfect for those upcoming summer shin-digs!
