Dear Jace,
Today, you turn 13, and I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the very first time, staring at your tiny face and wondering who you would become. Now, here you are,A TEENAGER, and I couldn’t be more proud. Being your mom has been one of the greatest honors and blessings of my life. You are growing into an amazing young man. I see your strength, your kindness, your sense of humor, your determination, and your big heart. Even on the days when you don’t realize it, you make the people around you better simply by being yourself.
As you begin this new chapter, I want you to remember a few things:
Always believe in yourself, even when things get difficult. Be kind to others, but never forget to be kind to yourself. Stand tall in who you are and never be afraid to be different. Work hard, stay humble, and keep God at the center of your life. Most importantly, know that no matter where life takes you, you will always have a home in my heart.
There will be exciting days ahead and some challenging ones too. That’s part of growing up. But I hope you always remember that you are loved beyond measure, supported beyond words, and capable of more than you can imagine.
