Robin Burnett Design

Atlanta-native Robin Burnett creates interiors that are beautiful, functional and individualized to each of her client’s needs.

After graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in both interior design and journalism, Robin began her career at Harrison Design Associates where she learned the importance of architectural and design history. Her time there inspired her to begin Robin Burnett Design in 2005. She loves the details in both classical and contemporary design, and endeavors to balance light, color and texture in each space while still taking into account the importance of scale and proportion. She has been featured as an ASID award winner and was selected as a 2018 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Bath of the Year winner and 2021 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Kitchen of the Year winner.

A study in arches, warm wood, and thoughtful details in the foyer of one of our Fort Worth projects.

An antique moment meets modern boldness. We love how our client’s heirloom painting brings a touch of old-world charm to this otherwise vibrant and contemporary primary bathroom. The coral backdrop feels daring yet intentional and proves that contrast can create the most memorable design moments.

It’s all in the details. Layers of pattern, texture, patina, and pieces that feel collected rather than simply placed. The little moments that give a room its personality.

My favorite plans usually involve Mahjong. I knew I wanted a dedicated spot for it at home, so I had a custom table cover made in the same fabric as my kitchen Roman shades and paired it with our favorite folding bamboo chairs. Now the table can stay up all the time because there’s almost always a game in progress, and when we need the space, it easily folds away.

Art isn’t an afterthought, it’s the anchor of a space. Thoughtfully chosen and always personal, it guides the palette, informs the mood, and brings personality to every nook, space, and wall.

A bedroom designed to feel like a true retreat. Soft layers, thoughtful details, and natural light create a space that is equal parts calming and beautiful. Finished with crisp white bedding and timeless furnishings for the perfect place to unwind.

Cabinetry installation has begun at one of our Atlanta projects. Together with our client, we designed this kitchen and butler’s pantry with so many special details and thoughtful features that make it as functional as it is beautiful (slide 4!). We can’t wait to see this space finished.

A space that feels collected, comfortable, and meant to be lived in. Filled with special pieces that tell a story and thoughtful details that welcome you in and invite you to stay awhile. Texture does the heavy lifting here, with woven elements, plush upholstery, and layered neutrals balanced by fresh green accents for a room that feels grounded, refined, and timeless.
