Mid-renovation reminder: don’t panic yet!

The SAME flooring can look completely different depending on the lighting, wall color, trim, and everything surrounding it.

Renovations often have an awkward phase where the old and new are living together and that can completely throw off how a finish reads. Give it time. Once the whole palette comes together, everything changes 🙌🏽

Helping my clients make a million decisions during their renovations everyday gave me the itch to do it myself once again 😏

We bought another home with so much potential, but there’s a lot I want to change to make it feel like us! We’re talking walls coming down, a completely new kitchen, flooring, bathrooms, architectural details, a full basement to complete.

I’m bringing Instagram along for the design decisions, the things that go wrong, what I’d do differently along the way, where I splurge vs. save, etc. Follow along if this is your thing because this is going to be a fun (and probably very long) series!
