One of the best parts of a project under construction is getting to see what’s already taken shape while imagining what’s still to come.

Our team recently spent some time on site as we work to reimagine portions of the space with updated finishes. There’s something completely different about seeing a project three-dimensionally and walking it in person.

A little sneak peek for now. We’ll share more as our part of the project comes together!

A few of our team members joined in on the fun and had the best time celebrating Atlanta’s design community.

Furniture planning plays an important role in how an amenity functions for everyone who uses it.

Meeting ADA requirements is part of the design process, and that consideration carries into furniture planning too. The way furniture is placed can impact how someone moves through and uses an amenity, making accessibility an important part of the plan from the beginning.

Our partnership with Sunshine On A Ranney Day | Charity has always been about using our gifts.

We believe that when you have the ability to make a difference, you should. For us, that means renovating dream bedrooms, ADA bathrooms, and therapy rooms for children with special needs.

We’ve worked alongside SOARD for years and watching a family see their finished makeover for the first time is why we do this work.

The Sunny & Ranney Furniture Store in Roswell offers beautiful name-brand furniture, with sales generating funds for Sunshine on a Ranney Day, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has helped thousands of children over the last 14+ years.

What if you could physically walk through your project space before it was built?

Our team recently visited Walk Your Plans North Atlanta, where plans are projected at true scale to create an immersive, walkable experience of the design.

Seeing a project digitally gives us one perspective. Physically moving through it gives us another. At full scale, we can experience the proportions and spatial relationships in a completely different way before construction begins.

It’s another way to interact with the design and experience how it will translate into the build environment.

Havana Nights lit up Roswell last month for the Evening of Sunshine Gala, benefiting Sunshine on a Ranney Day.

Together, we raised more than $450,000 to fund home renovations for children with special needs — accessible bathrooms, sensory-friendly therapy rooms, and dream bedrooms. For children who benefit so greatly, these spaces give them hope and freedoms they wouldn’t otherwise realize in a home that wasn’t working for them.

14 years with this charity, 7+ of them serving on the board — and nights like this still remind me why the work matters. Grateful to everyone who showed up, gave, and made it possible.
