A year and a half ago, I never could have imagined this would be my life. I know I’ve said this before, but truly. I had no idea. I still tell my people “if I make it” and they look at me and say “Rhianna, you have made it. Look at you. Look at your art” and I truly have to take a step back into reality.
I had no idea this journey would bring such an overwhelming outpouring of love and support from people who started as complete strangers. I never expected the friendships, the mentors, the creative partners, or the incredible people I’ve met through workshops and courses along the way. Every experience has shaped not only my designs, but who I am as an artist.
This week alone, two different people told me my work felt like a Pinterest board and that I’ve become an inspiration to them. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever get used to hearing words like that. It’s humbling, and it’s an honor I don’t take lightly.
The truth is, I still have so much to learn. I’m nowhere near finished growing (I’m actually still pretty green to most), and that’s one of the things I love most about this industry. There will always be another technique to master, another creative challenge to embrace, another opportunity to become better.
To every couple, every fellow florist, every vendor, every educator, and every person who has taken a chance on me—thank you. Thank you for believing in my vision, encouraging me, and allowing me to create from my heart.
I can’t wait to see where this journey leads next, the beautiful weddings still to come, and the creative souls I’ll have the privilege of meeting along the way. Here’s to dreaming bigger, creating fearlessly, and never losing the joy that started it all. 🤍
