Looking back at this moment in Hawaii, I see it differently now.

Back then, I wasn’t building what I’m building today.
I hadn’t stepped fully into this opportunity yet.
I was just living in the moment, unaware of how much growth and work was still ahead of me.

Opportunities rarely show up looking like paradise.
They show up as early mornings, uncomfortable growth, learning curves, and choosing discipline when it would be easier to stay the same.

Two years ago, we found ourselves floating high above the ground in a hot air balloon, looking out over everything we’ve built, everything we’ve walked through, and everything still ahead of us.

Marriage isn’t always easy.
It takes trust.
It takes courage.
It takes choosing each other again and again, even when life feels uncertain.

Every time I’m in the saddle, I’m reminded how simple life can feel when you’re living it on your own terms.

Fresh air, open land, steady hooves beneath me… this is the kind of freedom I always dreamed about.

Years ago, I walked away from a career in water treatment so I could be home with our kids. It was the right decision for our family, but it also meant giving up a stable income and retirement.

So I chose to build something different from home.
Something that allows me to raise my family, spend time with my horses, work our land, and still create income and a future.

This lifestyle didn’t happen by accident.
It came from choosing growth, faith, and a path that aligned with the life I truly wanted.

And I’m just getting started.
