I’ve had these two OAK Basset end tables on my website for a long time. It’s their time and they scream cottage, farmhouse, country!

Color is Stormy Seas with clear coat all over. Stain is my current fav for oak—it handles the red undertone beautifully. These are a warm brown, Aged Wheat, by Varathane.

Original hardware. I removed the bat wings. 😉

Round: 25” diameter, 22” tall. Lower shelf
Squarish: 24”, 22” tall. Drawer glides easily

These beauties went along their way today! In an effort to keep costs down, 10-pack hardware I had in stock was chosen—as well as a single painted finish in the color Agate from Diamond H Designs collection of my favorite paint by Mr Vaughn's Paint Emporium.

The color, Black Night, is my favorite brand of paint by Diamond H Designs/Diamond H Collecrion from Mr Vaughn's Paint Emporium. 

Extensive repairs to bring this gal back to life!

The stained portion was cleaned, stripped, acetone scrubbed, then sanded and sanded.

Seven drawers are waxed and glide easily.

New hardware to replace bail pulls that didn’t bend around the curved drawers.

42” x 21” x 30.5” tall

Imagine her in a center-of-room placement to greet clients or enjoy in a home office. 😉

This marketing stuff is hard! All the things…

I have previously posted to sell this solid oak, front-back, antique kitchen island as is. No top.

Left photo is with no filters.
Right photo is artificially staged.

There were almost 6K views of date night—Can we do it again?

Once an empire buffet, now a front-back island with bar stools. I stripped the original, then used Varathane’s Aged Wheat stain then clear coat.

Two small drawers on top. Right one has three sections. Huge drawer across the bottom. All have been cleaned and waxed. Vast amount of inside storage was “beefed up” to add support for the back corbels. Also cleaned and waxed.

New rustic hardware.

58” x 31” x 39” tall (incl 2.75” casters)
Between back corbels 51” (generous for the two barstools)
THERE IS NO TOP ON THE ISLAND. I felt it was too buyer-specific. I’ll let the buyer add a top to coordinate with their kitchen!

I also made a mirror that can be added to the cost if the buyer of the island/barstools would like it. Otherwise, it will be sold separately. Same stain.

This is the other half of the church pew I had with no ends. The hubs helped me cut the pew. I drew the leg and arm patterns, cut them with a band saw, sanded forEVer, patched, and sanded more.

Then the build to make sure the bench sits level, is center on the leg, and looks good!!

The color is my favorite black, Black Night, from the Diamond H Designs Collection, part of Mr Vaughn's Paint Emporium.

The stain is a new from Varathane and helps to tone down red oak, Aged Wheat—a nice, warm brown.

Clear coat all over.

Outside dimensions. 42” x 20” x 37” tall
Seat area 39” x 15”
Back area 39” x 19.5”

Holler if you’re interested. I know I’m biased, but this is much prettier in person. 🖤

Pair of nightstands with three drawers in color Hunter Haus, part of the Diamond H Designs Collection of Mr Vaughn's Paint Emporium.

These nightstands are solid with nicely gliding drawers. Stain color is provincial with clear coat.

This Bassett Furniture chest of drawers has been refinished by Diamond H Designs and is now available! It has been refinished in the color Hunter Haus! It is a beautiful green. It has four deep drawers. Top drawer has teardrop-shaped gold handles. Bottom drawers have ornate gold bar handles. Bassett Furniture stamp is inside top drawer. This is a sturdy, well built dresser.
