We were grateful to attend the groundbreaking for CENTRAL LAKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS alongside Moore Trosper, IGNYTE DESIGN, Shymanski & Associates, L.L.C., and Spalding DeDecker.

The program was made even more meaningful by the elementary students holding handmade “Thank You” signs they had created for the occasion. We look forward to seeing this project come to life for the students, staff, and community.

French was proud to celebrate the groundbreaking for the new Explorer Elementary with Williamston Community Schools.

As the flagship project of the district’s August 2024 bond proposal, this milestone marks an exciting step forward for students, staff, families, and the greater Williamston community. The ceremony was especially meaningful with current students and staff in attendance, a banner featuring student handprints, and student representatives from each classroom taking part in their own groundbreaking moment.

The new Explorer Elementary is scheduled to open in fall 2027 and will include new classrooms, a new office, a new gymnasium, improved arrival and dismissal circulation, and new soccer fields.

We are grateful to be part of a project that will support learning, connection, and community for years to come.

Today, several districts we have been proud to work with will have bond proposals before their communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to support their planning efforts and remain committed to helping districts create spaces that serve students today and into the future.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden passing of Paul A. Corneliussen, our retired co‑owner and long-time leader at French Associates. Paul’s remarkable dedication, unwavering integrity, and warm friendship left a lasting impression on all of us. Those who worked alongside Paul will remember his sense of humor and humility, qualities that endeared him to colleagues, clients, and partners alike. Paul’s steady leadership was instrumental in shaping our firm, and his influence touched many lives throughout the years. Paul will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Paul’s family and loved ones as they navigate this difficult time. We invite everyone to join us in remembering Paul and honoring his legacy.

Westrick, Vice President, recently attended the SWMSBO Mid-Winter Conference at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
