Interior materials took a turn on the runway at IIDA Michigan’s Finish 2 Fashion!

Jessica Walter, Jade Drabczyk, and Chantel Edwards represented French Associates, Inc. at The Treasury in Pontiac, where teams transformed everyday interior materials into wearable designs inspired by an otherworldly botanical theme.

The event brought the design community together for a creative evening supporting the IIDA Michigan Chapter and interior design advocacy. Thank you to IIDA Michigan and the participating teams for showing just how far imagination can take familiar materials!

A ribbon cutting worth celebrating for the Birney K-8 community!

French Associates, Inc. joined Southfield Public Schools to mark this milestone and celebrate the work that brought the project to life. Seeing the finished spaces is rewarding, but what matters most is what comes next: students learning, teachers making these spaces their own, and a community enjoying the investment in its school.

Thank you to Southfield Public Schools and our project partners, SME, Resurget, and SES, for the collaboration throughout this project. We look forward to seeing Birney’s next chapter unfold.

It was a beautiful Day 5 in the neighborhood for last week’s ’s 16th annual Six Day Project. Working together with more than 1000 volunteers, 41 blocks were transformed providing families a safer and healthier place to call home. Many thanks to Detroit and the awesome architectural, engineering and specialty firms who all showed up and worked hard for the community. We’re looking forward to participating again next year!

A milestone worth celebrating at Levey Middle School!

Charles Marchetti joined Southfield Public Schools for yesterday’s ribbon cutting, representing French Associates, Inc. It was a pleasure to celebrate with the school community and see this project presented to the people it serves.

It was great to connect with students at Technological University’s career fair on Thursday, September 24. Nabhitha Tadakamalla and Chantel Edwards represented French, sharing their experiences and learning more about the students’ interests and goals.

In honor of Friday night football, here’s a look back at the September 18 game at Harbor Springs High School. Chuck Marchetti joined the crowd at the stadium French Associates, Inc. developed with Foresite Design. It’s always rewarding to see the community enjoying the space.

Craig, Chuck, Vasilios, and Heather spent Monday at the Dearborn Education Foundation’s FORE Golf Outing! ⛳

It was a fun day supporting an organization that helps provide educational resources and opportunities for Dearborn students. Thank you to the Foundation and everyone who helped make the outing possible!

Our VP, Craig Westrick, and his family joined Rochester Community Schools Foundation’s Hometown Hustle 5K and Color Fun Run this past Saturday, and the photos deserve a spot on the office wall.

Family smiles, clouds of color, and a French hat still reporting for duty. That’s our kind of hometown spirit!

At French, we love being part of the communities where we work and live. Sometimes that means rolling up our sleeves. Apparently, it also means getting them covered in pink and yellow.

Way to represent, Craig and family! 💙🧡

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.

Twenty five years later, we pause to honor their memory and reflect on the strength that can be found when people come together in the face of unimaginable loss.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
