We’ve been pretty quiet on our page but we’ve got a good reason. Last year Mother Nature layed a big ole pine on our home. From that point we decided to take out the other 2 and create an area for relaxing. Here’s our progress so far. Much more to do and we can’t wait to share the finished project with you all! So apparently the Wise Owl salve has gone viral and rightfully so. We bought this leather couch used and then our dogs got on it 🤦‍♀️. No worries. I am no longer afraid to buy leather because I have this magic in a tin in my back pocket ❤️ It also helped to remove some oops paint from the previous owner.

Our whiskey barrel table arrived yesterday and it’s perfect! We are definitely going to order another for the other side...

Our whiskey barrel table arrived yesterday and it’s perfect! We are definitely going to order another for the other side of the couch. It’s sturdy and unique and fits the looks we are going for perfectly. We’ve got a few more things to hang and then we will do a recap of the transformation of our boring basement.

I really can’t contain my excitement! We’ve got some pretty great items coming from small businesses that we found on Etsy!
First up is a guitar stave made from old whiskey barrels. I decided to hang my father’s Hagg that he bought in 1967! That guitar brings so many great memories of him playing Puff the Magic Dragon for me when I was kid ❤️
Then I found an awesome side table from the same company.
Lastly, we needed a light and I wanted something unique. It will hang next to that aged brass Hare I found. Feeling like a kid right before Christmas. Ha ha
