WE ARE HIRING!
One of our long term employees is starting an alteration service out of her home office and we are so excited for her! She’s going to crush it!
This means we are looking to fill the void in our heart and in our store. We are looking to hire someone that could become a chameleon for our company.
Schedule: Full time retail but only 2 Saturdays per month
Pay: $17 starting to $22 per hour after profit sharing, bonuses and PTO. and a company 401k. W/ bosses who understand that life gets busy and things come up. We have a balanced work environment to ensure you want to stay as long as possible!
Location: Ideal applicant has reliable transportation allowing them to work in any one of our three locations. Auburn Maine retail store, Lewiston Maine warehouse, Readfield Maine warehouse.
Skills: Some sewing experience is ideal but not required. A love of fabric is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills is helpful. Ability to handle 60lb rolls of fabric is required. Being on your feet most of the day in a fast paced environment is required.
Tasks: This job interacts with the public daily on the phone and in our retail store. You will be helping package website orders, helping retail customers, answering phones, adding products to the website, making product videos….. and because we are a tiny company, doing whatever it takes to keep this place going. Job description is a fluid concept in small business.
This position will be mostly in our Auburn location but expect to be in Readfield and Lewiston regularly. (Subject to some change as work needs shift) Possible at home work during the slow months.
