Bennett Christopher Keeran, 14, of Auburn, Indiana passed away Monday, August 31, 2026.
He was born November 30, 2011, in Austin, Texas, to Christopher C. and Kristen J. (Fuess) Keeran.
Even at a young age, Bennett was already making memories he cherished as a freshman at Lakewood Park Christian School. He enjoyed being a part of the cross country, basketball and track teams.
Bennett enjoyed fishing, gaming, and eating snacks but what brought him the greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family, who were the most important part of his life.
He was a member of Dayspring Community Church in rural Auburn and loved attending their youth group with his friends.
Surviving are his parents, Christopher and Kristen Keeran of Auburn; two siblings, a brother, Hudson Keeran of Auburn, and a sister, Audrey Keeran of Auburn; maternal grandparents; Richard and Marietta Fuess of Fort Wayne; paternal grandfather, Duane Keeran of Austin, Texas; uncle, Trent Fuess of Fort Wayne; aunt, Heather and Jason Biddle of Austin, Texas; a cousin, Kailey Biddle of Austin, Texas; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kay Salinas.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at County Line Church of God, 7716 N. County Line Road E, Auburn, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Andy Grimes will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Pallbearers include Hudson Keeran (brother), Jackson Dale (cousin), Ayden Miller, Cameron Miller, Grant Russell, JK Thon, Beck Van Order, Eliot Van Order, and Blake Gibson.
Following the services on Wednesday, family and friends are invited to join together at Dayspring Community Church, 2305 N. Indiana Ave., Auburn, for a celebration of Bennett’s life and to share memories of a life so deeply loved.
Memorial donations may be directed to Lakewood Park Christian School to help fund the construction of a new track and field complex.
